The Surgery will be closed on Bank Holiday Monday (26th August) and will re-open 8am Tuesday 27th August.  If you have an urgent medical problem please dial 111.  Calls to the NHS 111 service are free from both landlines and mobiles.

PLEASE NOTE - if you have received an email from Patient Access with regard to updating your on-line access, this is genuine and Patient Access advise you follow their instructions to update your account.

NOTICE - if you received a text message in December stating you are a smoker and to contact us for help in giving up, please ignore this as it was sent to our 'non-smokers' in error. 

NHS Health Worker Awards - A big congratulations to our Primary Care Practitioner/Nurse Team Manager ..... Helen Merrigan!  Helen received a Lifetime Service Award for all her hard work and dedication to the National Health Service.  I'm sure you will join us in saying this is a well deserved award to an exceptional person, who goes above and beyond!  Well done Helen.

PLEASE NOTE:

EMIS, the clinical system we use as a practice for our appointments and patient information, has moved it’s online storage to a facility run by Amazon.  They informed us of this on 31st May 2019 and provided a full document detailing the actions they have taken to ensure it is secure.  This document is called a DPIA and it is part of the Data Protection 2018 regulations.  If you would like a copy please contact our Practice Manager.

 

Please be assured that this move has been approved by NHS Digital and the Secretary of State for Health. There is no change to how you access your information or the security of your information.
