First – double check you live in our catchment area. You can do this by entering your postcode below and you will be told immediately if you are in our catchment area or not. Unfortunately, we can only register patients in our catchment area.

Accessing someone else's information
Clifton Road Surgery is pleased to be able to provide patients with online access to their medical records via the NHS App.
We need to ensure that this does not disadvantage or put at risk our most vulnerable patients such as children, the elderly, those with mental health issues or those in abusive relationships. As such we have created a process that may appear to be overly bureaucratic but we hope you will support us in helping to protect these patients.
Proxy applications for parents/guardians wanting on-line access to a childs medical records is permitted. However, this is only for children aged below 16 years old; as aged 16 years and over the child is legally presumed to be an adult – access will only be granted if the young person lacks capacity to manage their own care. As the Practice’s medical records system is unable to automatically turn off proxy access, once a child is capable of making decisions or of a certain age, to mitigate this risk searches will be done every two months and those turning 16 years of age within that two months (unless they lack capacity) will have the proxy access removed
